New Neurohospitalist Locums Job in New Jersey Details/Requirements: --7on/7off needed at two hospitals (coverage is only one site per week) --Current schedule is Monday-Sunday typically, 7 am-7 pm --No night call --Primary role will be to manage neurology patients outside ICU and cover all inpatient neurology consults, stroke alerts, and tele-neurology. --NPs provide follow-up and continuing care --Joining four other neurologists --24 hour stroke alert and TPA administered at both Hospitals --Typical day: one doctor with NP at each site --14 ICU beds (closed ICU) --Sub-specialty support: Interventional & Neurocritical Care --APPs support on the unit five days a week --Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology --Comprehensive stroke program experience, tele-neurology and/or tele-stroke experience a plus.
