Job Description:

A pharmaceutical company in New Jersey is actively seeking a new Medical Information Contractor for a promising opportunity with their growing staff. Responsibilities: The Medical Information Contractor will: Receive, document, and respond to written medical information requests from healthcare providers Handle escalated calls from the company's call center regarding products, as needed Update and/or creates medical letters pertaining to products Limit corporate liability by meeting the medical ethical and legal responsibilities of providing product/device related information Serve as an educational resource to both internal and external customers Recognize and gathers, according to FDA guidelines and company policies, initial information regarding any product complaint or adverse event of which made aware during the handling of medical information and medical device inquiries Contribute to interdepartmental projects, and supports the provision of medical, scientific and technical information regarding products, as needed Provide assistance and/or training to other medical information personnel Perform other duties, as needed Participate in handling on call after hours inquiry handling, as needed. Qualifications: 1+ year of experience with providing Medical Information to customers Pharm D 1-3 years experience with providing medical information to customers Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Microsoft Office Suite proficient Solid problem solving and time management skills Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention ot detail Highly organized Desired Skills: Experience with MI Systems
