Job Description:

A pharmaceutical company in New Jersey is looking to add a newBiostatistician III to their staff in a Remote capacity. Working with Medical & Real World Data Analytics (MRWDA) team, the Biostatistician III (Remote) will be responsible for conducting end-to-end post-hoc and real world data analyses, including data processing and performing descriptive and inferential statistics (e.g., classification, clustering and predictive modeling).

Responsibilities:
The Biostatistician III (Remote) will:

• Develop statistical analysis plans (SAPs)
• Formulate and execute modeling procedures
• Prepare reports, tables and charts
• Support writing of methods and results for regulatory and/or publication submissions
• Participate in meeting with stakeholders from Medical Affairs, Clinical Development and others to communicate and present results and discuss statistical methodologies used
• Provide interpretation of findings in the context of the research question/problem
• Perform other duties, as neededQualifications:
  • 3+ years ofexperience as an independent Statistician
  • Bachelors Degree in Statistics and/or related Quantitative background
  • Strong statistical background
  • Proficiency in SAS & R programming languages
  • Solid problem solving and time management skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organizedDesired Skills:
    • Master's Degree and/or PhD-level
    • Familiarity with R shiny apps OR borrowing historical/real-world data (e.g., Bayesian, propensity score matching)
    • CDISC standards (e.g., ADaM domains/specs) and clinical trial data, especially phase 3 studies
    • Experience with report generation including generation of publication quality tables and figures
    • Experience with using simulation (e.g., MCMC)
