*Pathology Assistant *_GHR Healthcare is working with a Top New Jersey Hospital that is currently seeking a Pathology Assistant to join their time. _This is a full time contract with the option to extend.*Schedule: ** Full Time, Monday-Friday* 8:00am-4:30pm* No weekends, no call* 6 month contract with option to extend*Local Pay: *$65-70/hour*Travel Pay: *$3,000/week*Job Description: ** Pathology Assistant will assist pathologists in the examination, dissection and processing of tissues, as well as in gross autopsy dissection under the direction of a board certified licensed pathologist* Ensure proper specimen accessioning and gather clinical history (scans, xrays, lab data..etc.)* Obtain biological specimens such as blood, tissue and toxicological materials for studies* Participate in gross and microscopic specimen photography* Prepare human post mortem examinations, including external examination, in-situ organ inspection, evisceration and dissection* Peform administrative duties related to the maintenance of surgical pathology protocols, reports and data.*Requirements: ** ASCP Certification* 2+ years of experience as a Pathology Assistant* Graduatoin from an NAACLS - approved Pathology Assistant training proram is preferred*Call or text Kirsten for more information: 484-567-9409 *#allied-othJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $3,000.00 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Vision insuranceMedical Specialty:* PathologySchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to FridayExperience:* Pathology Assistant: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:* ASCP (Preferred)Work Location: In personby Jobble
