Delivery Nurse (Nights) Job Description: We are seeking dedicated
and experienced Labor and Delivery Nurses to join our team on a per
diem basis for night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This role is
ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are
committed to providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality nursing care and
support to laboring patients and their families during delivery. -
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
for mothers and infants. - Monitor patients’ vital signs, manage
pain, and administer medications as necessary. - Assess labor
progression and communicate effectively with physicians and staff.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing
experience. - Preferred experience in Labor and Delivery plus
Mother-Baby care (not required). - Required certifications: BLS,
ACLS, and NRP. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment: - Minimum of 4 shifts per month with the possibility to
pick up additional shifts. - Must have weekend availability;
candidates who cannot work occasional weekends will not be
considered. Additional Information: - Scrubs will be provided. -
Guaranteed Hours: 12 hours per shift. - Contract Weeks: 361 weeks.
