This vital role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional obstetric and gynecological care, ensuring positive outcomes for mothers and babies during weekends. Required Skills: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility to obtain one Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist services Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment Nice to Have Skills: Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems Prior locum or temporary hospitalist experience Knowledge of hospital protocols and procedures Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations Preferred Education and Experience: Completion of ACGME-accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology Minimum of 3 years of inpatient OB/GYN practice experience Previous experience covering weekend shifts is advantageous Other Requirements: Availability to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) Certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Willingness to collaborate with hospital staff and specialists Must adhere to all hospital policies, safety guidelines, and confidentiality standards This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your professional portfolio while enjoying a competitive hourly pay rate of $234.00.
