Sterile Processing Tech Location: Bethpage, NY Agency: Lancesoft Inc. Pay: $1,500 to $1,550 per week Shift Information: Evenings - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job details: Position: Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST) Location: Bethpage, NY Shift: Evening (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) Duration: 8 weeks Job Duties Clean, decontaminate, sterilize, reassemble, and package surgical instruments per manufacturer and department guidelines. Operate sterilization equipment including STERIS washers, autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and steam/EO sterilizers. Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and proper assembly; report damaged items. Retrieve and process used surgical trays and equipment from clinical areas. Maintain accurate documentation (SynergyTrak) and adhere to infection control and inventory protocols. Requirements 2 years of Sterile processing experience Active CRCST or CSPD certification BLS from AHA
