Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the environments sterile and equipped Perform basic clinical procedures such as taking medical histories, recording vital signs, and explaining treatment procedures to patients Administer medication as prescribed by the attending healthcare provider Collect, prepare, and log laboratory tests Update and maintain all digital client records and assist in the retrieval of medical information Follow up on patient appointments, phone calls, and other communications Ensure adherence to safety, health, and legal regulations within the scope of healthcare Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in clinical procedures and basic medical tools Capability to operate medical office devices Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
