Seeking part time Family practice Internal medicine Physician Philadelphia Pennsylvania 19131 (Near Monument RD) POSITION SUMMARY: The physician practitioner under the general direction of the Assistant Medical Director (AMD)CEO/Chief Medical Director will provide Evaluation and Management services for Medical diagnosis for patients in psychiatric healthcare facilities assist in overseeing the appropriateness and quality of medical care delivered to patients seen in psychiatric healthcare facilities ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES: Provides Evaluation and Management services for Medical diagnosis for patients in psychiatric healthcare facilities as indicated. Coordinates with the AMD and Director of Clinical services to provide support and appropriate direction to facility staff on issues pertaining to medical care. Available to attend Medical Staff Meetings. Performs other duties relevant to physician practitioner role. JOB SUMMARY Provides treatment and diagnosis in the form of History & Physicals, consults, and follow-up care in an inpatient and residential setting. Functions independently to provide medical management to behavioral health patients in an acute and residential care setting. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the ages, developmental stages, and special needs/health conditions of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients(ages 5 and up).
