At The RealReal (TRR), our business outcomes are a direct result of hiring great talent. We are looking for a Director of Talent Acquisition to drive recruitment strategy for our fleet of 16 Retail stores and 4 stand-alone Luxury Consignment Offices. This is an opportunity for you to develop and own a best in class talent practice, while influencing outcomes with senior leaders across the organization. You will lead and develop the team of Retail recruiters while enhancing the culture of the overarching TA team and company as a whole. You will serve as a strategic thought leader in partnership with the Talent Acquisition, People Team, and Retail Operations leadership teams.

This position can be located in our San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York City offices or fully remote.

What You Get To Do Every Day
Inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing and engaged team of recruiters
Build a creative hiring strategy for TRR's Retail stores and Luxury Consignment Offices including training tools and resources that empower leaders to drive hiring at the local level
Contribute to ongoing process improvements while ensuring accurate reporting (analysis of candidate flow, attrition, offer acceptance rate, etc.)
Build out best practices for recruiting at scale, working closely with hiring and Talent Leadership to create scalable, efficient, and effective processes
Identify and capture data on important recruiting metrics to measure the success of the function
Drive adoption and advancement of current recruiting technologies, such as Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other social and sourcing platforms and tools
Serve as a trusted business partner for Retail stakeholders and People Team partners, offering counsel, expertise collaboration, and in depth understanding of business variables and outcomes
Lead with data, providing recruiting status reports and communications to senior leadership and key business partners/cross functional business partners
Drive The RealReal's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practice from a recruiting lens including building affinity, sourcing, training and selection strategies in partnership with our DEI leadership team
Be a champion for employee culture and a voice of our employer brand

What You Bring To The Role
Minimum of 7 years Retail recruiting experience
Minimum of 4+ years of experience leading a recruiting team
Experience in developing and delivering effective recruiting strategies
A proven track record for building effective partnerships with business stakeholders and senior leadership
Ability to own and influence outcomes
Curiosity, humility, and creative problem-solving
A data-driven approach to make informed decisions that improve practices and provide leaders with business insights
Commitment to building an engaged and effective recruiting team that support TRR's business objectives
