Job Description The Customer Service Representative is the key point of contact delivering superior service and support for both internal and external Customers primarily in the Home and Hardware Products sector. This position is responsible for 100% customer satisfaction, supporting sales revenue goals as well as market share targets. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Ensure Customer satisfaction through ease of doing business with H2B, on time shipments, responsiveness and communicating accurately, timely and proactively Lead communications internally with distribution, planning, accounting, product and sales management Utilize current systems and processes to convey accurate and reliable information to customers and sales personnel Acts as advocate for teamwork in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment Engage and provide input actively in processes and procedures Supply all required, relevant information to Customers and sales team Follow-up on all action plans defined by sales Build customer relationships Initiate sales orders and changes at the customer and/or salesperson---s request Verify purchase orders for accuracy Answer customer inquiries in a timely manner regarding product availability for assigned product lines Obtain customer specifications and other necessary information to process Customer orders Monitor progress of job orders through production relaying information to internal and external resources when necessary and according to Customer requirements and company standards Maintain accurate filing of invoices, work orders, purchase orders, pricing and other documents of importance Assist and cover team members during high volume or absences Convey information between customers, sales persons, and other stakeholders Identify system or process issues and recommend continuous improvements Promote new products through effective communication with current and prospective Customers Skills and Abilities Unwavering dedication to provide 100% customer satisfaction Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a productive manner Sound judgment and the ability to solve problems Ability to thrive in a fast-paced/time sensitive environment High degree of organization and attention to detail/accuracy Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to potential problems Superior communications skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization and to external customers Strong interpersonal skills and math skills Ability to remain calm in high pressure situations Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred Qualifications AS400 experience required; SAP experience a plus Associate---s degree with a minimum of two years--- experience Proficiency in MS Windows applications Experience in Order Entry software applications Additional Requirements This role is a hybrid role, with both in-office and remote work potential, based on business need and requirements Compliance with applicable Company policies including maintaining a drug free workplace and adhering to all safety policies and procedures is required Disclaimers H2B reserves the right to revise, change or modify the duties and responsibilities of this position at any time to meet business needs.
