Job Description:
Springdale Golf Club is excited to announce the career
opportunity of Guest Services Attendant. Ideal candidates will
thrive in creating a positive experience by assisting members and
guests with outside services as they play a critical role in the
success of the overall golf experience at the Club.
Key Responsibilities of the Guest Services Attendant:
-Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items
such as bag handling and club cleaning.
-Performs range maintenance such as: set-up of range, oversees
presentation of chipping and putting areas, maintains a large
amount of range ball inventory, picks range and cleans range
balls.
-Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion,
including the podium and bag drop area.
-Maintains accurate records of tee sheets, cart rentals and club
rentals.
-Provides assistance to any customers renting golf clubs and cleans
rental clubs upon return.
-Performs opening and/or closing duties as required.
-Maintains high overall cleanliness of all related work areas.
-Assists in educating players regarding the game.
-Directs start of play when necessary.
-Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
-Performs other duties as required.
-Regular and reliable attendance.
Minimum Qualifications of the Guest Services Attendant:
-A valid driver's license is required.
-Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
-Must be comfortable standing for the majority of your shift.
-Must be comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather
conditions including hot, humid, cold, windy and raining.
-Knowledge or an understanding of the game of golf is a plus.
-Prior customer service experience preferred.
Other Qualifications:
-Regular and reliable attendance.
