Job Description:

Boswell Engineering, a fully integrated, multi disciplinary engineering firm, with offices located in the northeastern U.S., has been offering professional consulting services to public and private sector clients since its founding in 1924.

Boswell Engineering is seeking a highly-motivated Recruiter. This individual will report directly to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager and will provide a weekly status report of recruitment activities and results. The Recruiter will coordinate with the Senior Manager and hiring Managers in the full-cycle recruitment of technical and non-technical roles and in the overall corporate hiring/staffing practices.

Communicate with department hiring managers to review qualifications for each position and develop a recruitment plan to fill each role
Support hiring managers throughout the search process, utilizing a proactive, organized, service-oriented approach to recruitment-related activities
Sources resumes, conducts phone screens, conducts interviews and refers candidates to hiring managers
Consult with the management team and department heads to review, interviewing techniques, and hiring processes
Utilize strategic sourcing methods to build a database of qualified, diverse candidates
Assist with scheduling interviews
Assess potential candidates for the level of interest, qualifications, compensation requirements, and company overall fit
Monitor industry standards related to compensation, incentives, and other initiatives to continually upgrade in-house recruitment policies
Develop an understanding of company market sectors
Exhibit strong relationship management skills that include the ability to communicate, influence, and build credibility
Develop and execute strategies to retain hired talents
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations


Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in HR or related field of study
3-5 yrs. of experience as a full cycle Recruiter
Competent understanding and previous experience in the Engineering sector a plus
Knowledge of applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations
In-depth knowledge of recruitment day-to-day operations
Comprehensive knowledge of recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, and Job boards)
Experience with Paycom is a plus
Extensive knowledge of MS-Excel and personnel database systems
Exceptional interpersonal communication and writing skills
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Strong team player and collaborator
