Job Description Who We Are: Everas Community Services is a leading non-profit that manages group homes and day programs for the I/DD population. Through our support services and advocacy, we empower our clients to continually grow and lead fulfilling lives. Our organization is seeking an experienced and results-driven Human Resource Professional. Based in Somerset, the successful candidate would work with the existing team to provide all facets of HR to our organization. Previous experience is a must. This position will require you to employ traditional methods as well as new and creative strategies. That being said; you must be self-driven, organized, and motivated to build a best in class staff. The ideal candidate must have transportation, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to travel throughout the state. Ensure that all procedures comply with state and federal laws. Work with senior leadership to develop innovative strategies around retention and employee engagement. Aide in the development and implementation of training to enhance agency knowledge of human resources. Participate is all agency audits Develop performance metrics for all levels of the organization. Ensure all files are up to date. Participate in all employee reviews. Communicate with staff to answer any HR related questions. Attend career fairs. Ensure all required filings are done in a timely manner. Manage the open enrollment process Experience/Skills Required: Bachelor's Degree in related field desired Minimum 3 year of previous HR experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills The ability to work independently Willingness to meet NJ Executive Order 252, which requires employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including a booster; at minimum one dose is required to begin employment with the expectation to complete subsequent doses as per recommended time frames; this requirement may be waived only in exceptional circumstances as outlined in the law.Job Type: Full-timeSchedule: 8 hour shift Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate: Somerset, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience: Human resources: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)Work Location: One location
