Overview

Apply cutting-edge technology to solve challenging business problems and maximize the value IT provides to our internal customers. Oversee the administration of the web portal, develop custom applications in a web environment, manipulation of data between platforms, systems analysis to assist organization in process automation and re-engineering initiatives. Additional activities related to technology projects either in an advisory or participant role may be required. Day to day support on errors within our ticketing systems and reports.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the complete design, development, testing and deployment of custom written web applications and services
• Comprehensive experience with structuring, developing, and implementing interactive web sites with a content management back-end
• Work with database administrator to design, develop, and update databases as they relate to Web applications
• Solid understanding of application development methodologies and life-cycle
• Debug and troubleshoot errors in data or code in relation to Web applications
• Ensure that front-end code functions consistently across all browsers and platforms
• Work closely with the business users to support existing Web applications
  
  Qualifications
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant computer-related field
  • At least 5 years of related work experience with the development of web-based applications using following Technologies:
    • ColdFusion with version 10+ utilizing CFCs
    • AJAX, JQuery
    • JAVASCRIPT
    • CSS
    • SQL Server or Oracle
      • Understanding of GUI design & implementation
        • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
        • Experience working in a small, team-oriented, collaborative environment, preferably in the manufacturing and sales support industry
        • Ability to validate data, test rigorously and provide accuracy
        • Knowledge of ERP system is a plus (Infor Syteline preferable)
