Herrmann is a 100% remote distributed global organization.-- This is a 100% remote role and you would be working from your home office, or preferred location.----
The IT Manager will oversee, manage, and maintain our IT Systems and infrastructure here at Herrmann. This role will provide support by triage, research and resolution of incidents and requests regarding our IT network system and infrastructure components.
This role reports directly to our Head of IT & Security, and will play a pivotal role as our overall team continues to grow. This is the ideal role for an individual who is looking to work for a fast-paced technologically focused organization, as you will have project responsibilities related to our cloud environment, policies, and procedures.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Serve as a resource and provide timely response/troubleshooting/resolution to submitted IT requests and tickets for our internal team
  • Assign escalation cases to appropriate teammate/departments for follow-up and problem resolution, utilizing knowledge base, FAQ's, and all other available resources to aid in incident resolution to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
  • Work (independently and with collaboration) on various projects to include:
    • Expanding and maintaining multiple cloud environments including Azure and G Suite
    • Adding security layers and solutions to remote endpoints and cloud systems
    • Documenting and executing IT related policies and procedures
    • Effectively communicate with the Herrmann team on various updates and information regarding our IT system and infrastructure
    • Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization
    • Collaborate with Head of IT & Security, Platform team, and VP of Operations to achieve system efficiency to support our continued growth goal

      QUALIFICATIONS
      • 3-4 years of technical support experience
      • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
      • Knowledge and experienced with Google Suite, Office 365, and has worked in Microsoft Azure
      • Experience and working knowledge of project management software such as Trello and Jira
      • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence individuals at all levels of the organization
      • Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
      • Ability to work under pressure and meet scheduled deadlines
      • Excellent listening, comprehension, and presentation skills
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Team Player with a positive attitude
      • Self-motivation to work under his/her own initiative to aid in increasing service efficiency and process
      • Experience working in remote/virtual environment


        We are a 100% remote-working company, and this role can be performed from any location of your choosing, so long as you have a high bandwidth internet connection and a relatively quiet workspace to work. Anywhere can be your office!
        You will be expected to be able to travel when needed, and a few times each year you'll be available to travel to various locations for internal team activities/meetings that require physical presence.
