NewsTech allows each company it services to focus on what they do best, while receiving a higher level of technology services.NewsTech is looking for a Senior Technology Asset Analyst to be responsible for understanding and adhering to the asset management policies for NewsTech specifically as it relates to end user devices and software. As a Senior Technology Asset Analyst, your job is to receive equipment, manage inventory, follow service management processes as they relate to end user assets. The accuracy of the end user asset records in our CMDB is of utmost importance, this position has a critical role to ensure asset records are maintained properly throughout the entire asset life cycle (i.e. starting from the time assets are received into inventory, are allocated to a user, are refreshed, are returned and eventually disposed). On a daily basis, this role entails processing incoming requests for end user hardware, determining the appropriate equipment to allocate for each request, allocating the appropriate inventory to be deployed to the requester and possibly ordering additional equipment to maintain inventory. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT asset management, will be very detailed oriented, have experience with an ITSM tool, preferably Remedy OnDemand and be able to assist other members of the team in their day-to-day duties.

• Responsible for the execution of the asset management process to track laptops, desktops, mobile devices and software licenses through their life cycle.
• Support the IT services by managing asset inventory
• Communicate changes to the asset management processes
• Identify opportunities for improvement at an operational level to ensure compliance to the process
• Liaising with and providing reports to other Service Management functions
• Ensure the Asset Management Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are monitored and met
• Ensure process, procedure and work instruction documentation is up-to-date
• Some travel between NYC and Princeton offices
• Meticulous focus on data accuracy and following processes
• Desirable qualification in a technical discipline, demonstrating skills in the understanding, investigation, analysis and presentation of complex information
• Relevant experience in a support function within a medium to large size organization
