Our direct client is looking for a Sr. Drupal Developer for a Remote Contract position (Client is in Trenton, NJ).

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The Client is looking for a highly skilled Drupal 8/9 developer who is passionate about building user-centered web experiences for people in need of information and services from their government.
- We need a highly skilled Drupal developer, not someone who has done Drupal or someone who has had exposure.
- To be successful, this senior consultant must ensure that the Judiciary website and intranet use the latest and most effective modules for managing large amounts of data and documents.
- The consultant will also provide technical leadership and improve the quality of Drupal development on assigned projects, perform code reviews, recommend enhancements, and mentor and advise other team members on best practices for Drupal development.

- Collaboration skills to work with team members and partners
- Flexibility regarding shifting priorities
- Contributions back to the Drupal community (Desired)

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 12 to 20 yrs.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study or advanced degree

SKILL MATRIX:
- experience in Drupal site building, administration, custom module development, configuration management/features and theming - Required
- working experience with the Drupal 8 and 9 ecosystem components (Git, Composer, TWIG, Site Building and Module development) - Required
- understand Drupal architecture and can develop a strategy for site development and maintenance - Required
- experience with Drupal user interface development to include user experience, theme development, and customization of community themes - Required
- ability to code and debug in PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript/jQuery - Required
- experience working in an iterative development environment (Jira, GitHub Projects, Agile, SCRUM) - Required
- familiarity with Configuration Management toolsets - Required
- experience with advanced PHP development frameworks and workflows (Symfony, Composer) - Required
- Acquia Drupal Developer Certification is highly desirable - Plus to have
- familiarity with Acquia tools and solutions (Cloud IDE, Acquia Pipelines, BLT, DDEV, Acquia Cloud) - Plus to have
- 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study or advanced degree - Preferred
