JOB ROLE AND PURPOSE:

Conduct project execution in a global delivery model for delivery of projects using various methodologies (Waterfall & AGILE - SCRUM), Partner products, tools & platforms. Work includes estimation, analysis, review, identification, design, development, maintenance of insurance applications using Mendix Platform. Create detailed tech design, tech transition documents and tech spec for nonfunctional requirements. Utilise development programming technologies including Mendix Platform, CSS, Java, JavaScript, Eclipse, Oneshield Dragon designer tool and database management tools like MS SQL Server management studio and Oracle SQL Developer. Perform code deployments using Urban Code and TortoiseSVN. Analyze and debug system logs using Splunk tool. Monitor the app performance using AppDynamics tool. Create unit testing flows using Mendix and execute unit testing. Execute service level testing through SOAPUI and Altova XML Spy. Perform estimations using WBS technique for waterfall and PP technique for Agile. Participate in Project/Program Status reporting. Assist with release planning, sprint planning and code review sessions. Facilitate internal and external technical design and tech transition sessions. Release deployment support.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree (or equiv) in CompSci, Engg (Comp/Mech/Electronic), or related field, plus 5 years of experience in position involving similar duties/technical capabilities. Must be willing to relocate and work anywhere in the U.S. No telecommuting.
