In-Person Interview required It's a possible RTH position with the end client, candidate must have an ability to legally work in the US without visa sponsorship. Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for leading the Java software development project team as the SCRUM Master.- The Scrum Master will be responsible for making sure that the members of the team are well trained into following the values of the Scrum framework and Agile practices. - The Scrum master will ensure that the team members are aware of their respective roles and how they will fulfill them while using the framework.- The Scrum master will be responsible to facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.- The Scrum master should be a friendly communicative person, because when team is moving fast in Agile, communication is the effective force which holds the team together.- The Scrum master will coach in Agile practices. The member will coach individuals and interactions over processes and tools.- The Scrum master will help team or individual to clarify goals and actions to achieve them.- The Scrum master will shield the team from outside distractions and interference.- The Scrum master will ensure the correct use of scrum process.- The Scrum master will track and remove impediments.- The Scrum master will report daily to the DOH project manager and keep them aware of project tasks- The Scrum master will develop and crated associated SDLC document as per NJDOH/HIT standards- The Scrum master will ensure all project Epics, sprints and stories are documented IN JIRA- The Scrum master will be responsible for project desirable and releases- The Scrum master will assist in defining and developing User requirements, Epics, Stories and Sprints- Full-time professional work experience in Information Technology. RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 6 to 8 yrs. At least one (1) year of the experience must be in an Administrative; Managerial; or Supervisory capacity. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTIONS: - Accredited college training may substitute for the required work experience, except for the supervisory experience, with a maximum substitution of four (4) years. (Fifteen (15) semester hours in Information Technology or a related area is required.) - Accredited graduate training in the above area may substitute for the required work experience, except for the supervisory experience, with a maximum substitution of two (2) years. - Successful completion of an Information Technology Certification program, may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of two (2) years. (Proof of certification must accompany application.)- Two (2) years of work experience as an Application Systems Analysis/Programming-Supervisor may substitute for all of the required experience. Required Skills (Must have) - First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) - Past experience performing the Scrum Master role for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices and theory. - Technical team leadership, team facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and inc- Well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach- Experience playing the Scrum Master role for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. - Agile approaches such as : XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc - Applicable knowledge experience with widely successful Agile techniques: Epics User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing- Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team (Java, Spring, Angular & Oracle 12c)- The candidate must possess strong Business Analyst within Application Development environments abilities with outstanding communication skills.- Experience applying a wide variety of well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach- Previous experience as a team lead - Excellent communication, documentation and mentoring skills - Previous experience with JIRA and utlizing the tool in a SCRUM projectHighly Desired: Second level Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM II) - provided by Dice Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I), Java, Spring, Angular & Oracle 12c
