Job Description Job Description Summary We're currently
partnering with a major North American transportation system known
for its commitment to innovation, safety, and customer service.
This iconic organization continues to push the boundaries of modern
transit and is now expanding its legal team. They're seeking
attorneys with strong tort litigation experience at a high volume
(70) and a deep understanding of local, state, and federal laws and
regulations in New York City. Key Responsibilities Manage personal
injury claims through all phases of litigation Collaborate with
internal legal teams to shape and execute litigation strategies
Evaluate liability and damages, and recommend reserves and
settlements Conduct legal research, gather evidence, and prepare
for trial Handle witness prep, site inspections, jury instructions,
trial motions, and post-trial filings Partner with cross-functional
teams as needed Qualifications 2-8 years of tort litigation
experience (there are different titles and compensation bands based
on YOE) JD from an accredited law school Active New York State Bar
membership Strong analytical, communication, writing, and
negotiation skills Proven ability to build relationships with
clients, opposing counsel, and the judiciary The role is hybrid and
4 days a week in their Downtown Brooklyn office. Interested in
