Job Description:
Job Summary The Warehouse Attendant IV plays a critical role in
supporting production operations by compiling, maintaining, and
managing inventory records, material distribution, and stock status
updates. This position ensures timely movement of materials and
parts across departments according to production schedules and
priorities. Key Responsibilities Read production schedules,
inventory reports, and work orders to identify required materials,
stock availability, and priority levels. Confer with department
supervisors to communicate material shortages or delays and provide
real-time inventory updates. Locate, retrieve, and deliver
materials to designated production areas using handcarts, hand
trucks, or forklifts. Record, update, and maintain perpetual
inventory records for all materials and parts received, stocked,
and distributed using manual or computerized systems. Maintain
documentation, including inventory logs, production records, and
employee timecards. Inspect incoming materials for accuracy in part
numbers and check for discrepancies such as damage or missing
labels. Verify material use at workstations against work ticket
specifications to ensure correct allocation. Operate company trucks
to transport materials to remote work areas or check the status of
pending orders. Required Qualifications Proficiency in inventory
tracking, reporting, and production documentation. Ability to read
and interpret production schedules and work orders. Experience in
warehouse material handling and logistics. Familiarity with
computerized inventory systems. Forklift operation experience.
Valid driver’s license (if operating company vehicle is required).
Preferred Qualifications (if any) Experience with ERP systems or
digital warehouse management software. Previous experience in a
manufacturing or production environment. Certifications (if any)
Forklift certification (preferred or may be required based on
role). Education High school diploma or GED required. Education:
