Job Description Job Description Job Summary: Perform emergency
road service, towing, transportation moves, accident recovery, and
abandoned vehicle recovery using assigned truck and towing
equipment correctly while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities: · Provides towing and roadside assistance in a
safe, professional and timely manner, free of accident, injury,
damage or incident. · Transports vehicles, equipment, skid loaders,
backhoes, generators and personal property in intercity routes and
across state lines. · Abide by all Federal, State and Municipal
laws, rules and ordinances. · Maintains truck and equipment in a
safe, clean state, operating it in a safe and professional manner.
· Consistently ensure quality customer service through
professionalism, timely response, skill and courtesy. · Cleans and
removes debris from damaged vehicles and off the roadway. ·
Performs lockouts for customers who have locked their keys in their
car. · Removes, bends, or cuts parts of damaged vehicles
preparatory to towing. · Performs emergency roadside repairs such
as changing tires, providing fuel, and jumping batteries. ·
Monitors road conditions and watch for traffic congestion or
hazards. · Able to drive local and long distance in varying traffic
conditions. · Secures vehicle or equipment with straps and cables.
· Utilizes overhead lights and safety equipment during recoveries.
· Inspects tow truck and completes pre and post trip inspection
reports. · Reports any mechanical or safety problems to fleet
manager and manager. · Respond to all calls and jobs in a timely
manner. · Reports to dispatch any incidents or problems encountered
while on the road. · Keeps truck and associated equipment clean and
in good working order. · Keeps accurate records and logs of all
activities including tow slips, IFTA reports, gas receipts, toll
receipts and driving logs. · Submits accurate and timely invoices
for appropriate payment and processing. · Maintains timely and
consistent attendance. · Attends regular driver meetings as
requested for job and safety information. · Adheres to all company
procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. · Perform all
other duties as assigned. Qualifications: To perform this job

injury or damage. · Ability to stay calm while working in dangerous
traffic conditions or dealing with distressed/angry customers. · Be
at least twenty-five years of age. · Possess a valid driver’s
license. · Pass a motor vehicle report and possess an acceptable
safe driving record. · Pass a criminal background check and drug

loads. · Operators must be able to work on their feet for long
periods, sometimes in high-stress, fast-paced environments. ·
Frequent, fast, and repetitive hand and wrist movements are
required to operate controls, manage chains, and handle small
objects. · Bending and crouching to connect chains, straps, and
cables under and around damaged vehicles. · Work occurs in all
weather conditions, including extreme heat, rain, and snow. ·
Specific vision abilities (close, distance, and focus) are
required, alongside good hearing to stay aware of surroundings on
accident scenes. · Drivers must wear high-visibility vests (Class
3), gloves, and proper safety footwear to protect against debris,
road hazards, and injuries. · Moving heavy tow hooks, cables, and
