TransForce, a leader in CDL staffing and compliance, is seeking a dedicated CDL A Flatbed Driver to join our team. This position involves the operation of a flatbed truck to transport goods and materials to various destinations. The role requires adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance, while ensuring timely delivery and shipment integrity. Ideal candidates will have a history of safe driving practices, a keen understanding of transportation logistics, and the ability to effectively secure and transport various load types. Safely operate a flatbed truck over assigned routes to deliver goods. Secure cargo properly and ensure load integrity during transit. Monitor vehicle condition and report any maintenance or repair needs. Adhere to all safety and transportation regulations. Maintain accurate transport logs and documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure coordinated operations. Inspect loaded trucks for compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Proven ability to operate a flatbed truck and secure cargo. Excellent time management to meet delivery schedules. Strong navigation and route mapping skills. Effective communication and documentation abilities. Proficient in using GPS and other routing systems. Knowledge of mechanical systems to manage minor repairs. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Flatbed trucking experience preferred Clean driving record DOT medical card HAZMAT certification is a plus
