Job Description:
TransForce, a leader in CDL staffing and compliance services, is
seeking a dedicated Local CDL A Yard and Shuttle Driver to join our
team. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and
reliability of our transportation services, ensuring that all goods
are shuttled between facilities and freight is maneuvered within
the yard safely and promptly. As part of our team, you will work in
a dynamic environment that prioritizes safety and professionalism,
with opportunities for growth and development. Safely operate a
tractor-trailer between facilities. Manage the orderly parking of
trailers in the yard. Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip
inspections to ensure vehicle safety. Coordinate with dispatch and
other drivers to ensure smooth operation. Maintain accurate records
of deliveries and movements. Adhere to all safety regulations and
company policies. Strong vehicle handling skills Excellent time
management Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Good
communication skills Basic maintenance knowledge Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid CDL A license Clean
