Job Description:

Waste Connections, a leader in integrated waste services, seeks a dedicated Roll Off Driver at our Conshohocken, PA location to efficiently handle the collection and disposal of waste securing customer satisfaction and safety. This position focuses on servicing our commercial and industrial clients, managing and transporting waste in a safe, responsible manner. The ideal candidate will be committed to safe driving practices, punctual, and conscientious about customer interactions and environmental impacts of waste management. Operate roll off vehicles to collect and transport large waste containers to local disposal sites. Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance, ensuring safety equipment is in optimum condition. Follow scheduled routes assigned by dispatch, adjusting routes as necessary to meet customer needs or comply with traffic situations. Work closely with customers to resolve on-site issues, provide service confirmations, and ensure clear communication. Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements regarding waste storage and transportation, including DOT (Department of Transportation) laws. Report any safety incidents or accidents and participate in company safety meetings. Proficiency in driving heavy vehicles, knowledge of local traffic laws, and safety procedures. Ability to perform physical tasks and lift weights up to 50 pounds. Effective communication and customer service skills. Basic skills in performing vehicle maintenance and minor repairs. Medical Insurance 401k Life Insurance Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with no active violations within the past three years. DOT Medical Card.
