Job Description Job Description The Repack Supervisor oversees
daily repack operations within a cold-storage food facility. This
role ensures accurate allocation of packaging materials, maintains
production data accuracy, verifies quality standards, coordinates
inventory using FIFO principles, and collaborates closely with
cross-functional teams to support efficient and compliant
production. The supervisor ensures adherence to regulatory
requirements, leads safety and continuous improvement initiatives,
and provides operational flexibility during peak periods. Key
Responsibilities Oversee daily repack and production activities in
a cold-storage environment. Ensure accurate allocation and usage of
packaging materials. Validate production data and perform
end-of-day checks in production systems (e.g., Famous). Identify
and resolve production discrepancies and monitor overages. Assign
bulk inventory to work orders using FIFO or customer guidelines.
Monitor production yields, material usage, and pack-out accuracy.
Confirm proper warehouse placement of repacked pallets. Report
missing inventory and collaborate with Production and Warehouse
Managers to resolve issues. Provide updates to Sales, Production,
and customers on order progress or schedule adjustments. Ensure
strict compliance with FDA/USDA regulations, GMPs, and customer
specifications. Support food safety audits, traceability checks,
labeling accuracy, and documentation control. Participate in
continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational
efficiency. Promote a safe work environment and hold employees
accountable to safety standards. Adapt to changing operational
needs, including extended or weekend hours during peak seasons.
Perform other related duties as assigned. Education and/or Work
Experience Requirements Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory
experience in a food processing or manufacturing facility. High
School diploma or GED required. Competencies Bilingual fluency in
English and Spanish strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of GMPs
and food safety compliance. Proficiency with Microsoft Office,
Outlook, Warehouse Management Systems; experience with Famous is a
plus. Strong mathematical skills for production calculations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to
troubleshoot operational issues and maintain accuracy in a
fast-paced environment. Strong collaboration skills with teams
across multiple departments. Ability to work weekends as needed
based on operational demands. Physical Requirements Ability to
stand for long periods. Frequent use of hands and fingers. Regular
speaking and listening. Ability to work in cold temperatures
