Project Manager, Director - Consumer Campaign Management (WoS). Operations Group, Operations Group > Project Manager. Job Overview:. The Consumer Campaign Channel Manager for Windows on Snapdragon is a new role and will be dedicated to leading the sell through engagement with key consumer channel partners (e.g. Walmart, Costco, BBY, Verizon, etc). He/She will be responsible for quarterly campaign management for up to six channel partners globally. He/she will drive the program from inception through commercialization by tracking to key milestones, managing dependencies and deliverables, interfacing and coordinating with cross functional teams as well as relevant 3rd parties.. Specific Responsibilities:. Ensuring all the campaign and RFP elements are ready for execution. Tracking the productivity of our contra investments in channel. Executing sales campaigns that drive hundreds of thousands of devices per year through our principal telco operators. Working with our telco operator sales team to identify a target number of light house accounts per telco/operator. General Duties and Responsibilities:. Collaborates with key project sponsors and/or review board to develop project goals, set the prioritization of deliverables, coordinate business processes (e.g., project change management, communication), and facilitate decisions necessary for on-time project delivery.. Drives the team to create a comprehensive plan with dependencies identified and critical issues/paths.. Gathers and/or generates requirements (e.g. schedule and resource forecasting, stakeholder identification, method and frequency of communication, scope, milestones, prioritization) within a cross-functional team to develop project plans for large and complex projects; designs process architecture which includes swim lane/flow, all responsible parties, touchpoints, and requirements needed for each element in a plan.. Manages project performance (e.g., on time, on budget, within scope and with quality) for large and complex projects and provides input and justification for costs and budget impact.. Establishes key project metrics and manages team to ensure project success when metrics deviate from Plan of Record.. Manages designated team by translating business plans into tactical action items, ensuring all guidelines are followed, delegating tasks to meet goals and objectives, and overseeing the completion of work assignments; shares best practices with others on the team.. Monitors the compliance of project plans by ensuring team members follow processes and guidelines.. Works within a cross-functional team to create solutions and requirements that increase speed, accuracy, and minimize errors of project deliverables.. Promotes project vision and objectives within the team, ensures project objectives are met or exceeded, presents project vision to management, and gains buy-in from stakeholders.. Oversees risk mitigation across projects and identifies next steps for decisions based on issues that arise; provides advice and recommendations to more junior team members to resolve difficult situations.. Communicates to senior stakeholders and keeps an independent opinion; communicates with internal and external customers about issue resolution through schedules, bug trackers, and project status updates.. Forecasts, identifies, and secures needed internal and/or external resources and ensures the alignment of project member skills and strengths with project demands for large projects.. Assists in the development, piloting, and training of new tools/methods used for system wide implementation independently.. Oversees risk mitigation across projects and identifies next steps for decisions based on issues that arise; provides advice and recommendations to more junior team members to resolve difficult situations.. Pending ongoing COVID guidelines, travel expectations will be approximately 20-30%. Minimum Qualifications. Bachelor's degree or equivalent OR Associate's degree or equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience OR High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of relevant work experience.. In addition, 8+ years project management experience or related work experience is required.. Preferred Qualifications. Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, or related field.. PMO, PMP, or Six Sigma Project Management Certification.. 10+ years project management experience or related work experience.. 5+ years experience with project management tools (e.g., Visio).. 6+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).. 5+ years working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials.. 4+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization.. Past experience in similar sales campaign management roles is strongly preferred. Ability to communicate, educate and evangelize both internally & externally. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Creative problem solving with strong analytical skills. In addition to experience, the successful candidate will have demonstrated competencies in the following areas:. This includes the ability to weigh alternatives and take into account the impact of the decisions on people, equipment, or other resources.. This also includes the ability to get things done with fewer resources and in less time, work on multiple tasks at once without losing track, and foresee and plan around obstacles.. Technical Knowledge : Knowledge of program management methodology (e.g., planning, scheduling, tracking, execution). This includes the ability to effectively use program management tools to carry out the program management function..
