Withum is currently seeking a Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). This brand new position will be viewed as an integral move toward providing a well-balanced, diverse and overall inclusive culture at Withum. Reporting directly to our Chief Talent Officer, this position will partner with our executive leadership team, senior leadership across the business, and key cross-functional teams to strategize, build and execute company-wide DE&I initiatives. As we expand our commitments in this space, this leader will implement strategies that optimize all aspects of DE&I in our workspace, community, and business while serving as the catalyst for Withum’s initiatives, driving positive cultural change across the company.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

Develop and implement a DE&I strategy and action plan in alignment with the firm framework and business plans

Guide and govern ERGs to promote organization-wide awareness of diversity, equity and inclusion from all facets

Partner closely with Talent Acquisition on inclusion strategies in attracting, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring diverse talent

Work closely with Learning and Development to develop and implement an inclusion learning and awareness strategy for all levels of employees

Develop metrics on the effectiveness of D&I initiatives and prepare reports for senior management on the business ROI of these initiatives

Work closely with Director of Human Resources to ensure compliance with equal employment opportunity (EEO) requirements and affirmative action programs to promote a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace

Provide coaching to leaders and managers to enhance their capability to be inclusive leaders and allies

Work closely with Director of Human Resources to update Company policies and practices that support a respectful and inclusive culture

Stay connected to other innovative DEI focused professionals and organizations to share and learn the best approaches and innovations

The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university

Minimum of 10 years relevant progressive experience in HR, including a proven track record in implementation of DE&I initiatives

Strong knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion methodologies and best practices, as well as industry benchmarks and EEO concepts and requirements

Ability to interpret diagnostic (engagement, new hire and/or exit surveys) results and identify DEI implications

Strong facilitation skills with a proven ability to facilitate difficult conversations around race, gender, sexual identities, as well as other experiences of injustice, inequity and oppression

Proven ability to create frameworks around unstructured topics, to enable colleagues with executable, practical solutions to DEI challenges

Demonstrated track record in making informed decisions that demonstrate a broader scope of contextual and business understanding

A dynamic leader, skilled in leading groups and companies through change management

Strong sense of EQ and ability to strategically influence throughout an organization
