Job Description:


This position is responsible for assessing CHC business needs and develop specific policies framework for the CHC GBU. The position will closely work with Global EBI and Global Legal for ensuring an alignment with Sanofi 's code of ethics and values. The position will transversally work with various functions within the CHC GBU and beyond. The position will develop CHC specific trainings program and collaborate with HR function and Communication colleagues for implementing EBI training plans. The position will closely work with Sanofi EBI Network for providing interpretation of CHC polices and train the country EBI colleagues accordingly.


  • Assessing Business Needs: Regularly interact with stakeholders to understand business needs and competition environment. Tailor CHC policies to meet business expectations maintaining Sanofi ethical standards.

  • Research of Market Practices: Stay connected with industry forums for understanding emerging trends and update policies matching with the business evolution.

  • To elaborate and support the E&BI communication and awareness campaigns towards all employees, directly and in coordination with other departments, to promote the importance of compliance and ethical business practices; to build strong, open, effective relationships with all departments to foster a culture of compliance and ethical business practices.

  • Develop curriculum and provide trainings to CHC Compliance Champions network

  • Collaborate with Sanofi Global EBI for aligning CHC GBU policies and procedures with Sanofi's Code of Ethics and values

  • Collaborate with Sanofi Regional / Country EBI network for implementation and interpretation of CHC policies.

  • Collaborate with Legal function as ONE LEBI Team.

  • Working Transversally with all functions for reaching census on policy framework.

  • Working closely with industry forums and contributing effectively for shaping the CHC compliance program.

  • Familiarize and develop understanding of relevant laws in key markets ( USA, Europe, International) to ensure CHC policies provide assurance compliance with these laws.

  • Any other jobs which may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of relevant experience with human healthcare industries

  • Substantive knowledge of applicable laws and industry guidance in the US relating to healthcare and life science business, plus familiarity with the International life science or CHC marketplace

  • Working knowledge of the US & International healthcare compliance considerations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • JD, Business Degree and/or CPA

  • Sound judgment and commitment to ethical conduct

  • Excellent communication and developed interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated ability to (i) understand and analyze complex scenarios (ii) propose solutions that support the relevant business objectives coupled with ethical considerations and (iii) conflict management

  • Ability to work independently and to be reliable, responsible and accountable.

  • Team player with a commitment to developing strong collaborative relationships

  • Ability to organize, coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams

  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and still meet high quality and timeliness standards under pressure

  • Strong attention to detail.
