Our Personal Care Team is devoted to making a difference in the lives of our residents by providing assistance with activities of daily living and finding ways to enhance residents’ lives each and every day. Our Personal Care Teams at all six of our Senior Living communities support our residents who are no longer completely independent. Our Memory Care Unit at Wesley Enhanced Living at Stapeley offers a safe environment with comfortable surroundings where our Team provides dementia care support and assistance for residents diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia.


All Personal Care Aides will complete Wesley Enhanced Living’s Med Certification training within 60-days of hire to become Med Certified. This certificate allows Med Certified Personal Care Aides (Med Techs) to administer medications to residents. This training is provided by our Wesley Enhanced Living Staff Development Team at no cost to you!

As a Personal Care Aide / Med Tech at Wesley Enhanced Living, you will be able to coordinate efforts with the personal care team and teammates in other departments to ensure we are meeting the needs of our geriatric residents. By getting to know each resident as an individual with unique needs and interests you will be able to help create an environment that promotes resident rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality. You will be responsible for the day to day care of residents which includes activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), light housekeeping and laundry, and abiding to Personal Care Regulations. You will ensure all personal care activities are completed in a timely and effective manor to ensure the highest standards of quality care are met. This will involve exceptional customer service and communication with residents, their families, and your peers. You will help ensure resident safety at all times and assist your immediate supervisor with responsibilities to support department operations. Here, you will be able to build meaningful relationships with residents and their families and will be able to make an impact every day, with every interaction, by acting in kindness and doing the right thing.

  • You have one year experience as a Personal Care Aide (preferred)
  • You have your high school diploma or equivalent degree
  • You are willing to complete company-provided Med Certification training within 60-days of hire
