The Presales Licensing Specialist is the primary contact and dedicated resource for partners within the Modernized Billing Partner Team. This position supports the Sales organizations and a wide range of our company's top Tier 3 Emerging Partners as a generalist who will support in all ways from SLA (Service Level Agreements) to accounting resolutions to licensing through to deal registration. This individual will support daily sales requests, acting as a liaison between the partners' channel account manager and sales teams.   • Serve as the primary contact for select manufacturers/Partners in support of the company's entire sales organization.
  • Act as a "go-to" resource for the sales teams to answer product, program, contract, and other questions.
  • Maintain an understanding of how to navigate the partners' Partner Portal Pages to assist with quoting, deal registration, and general licensing guidelines.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the auto renewal, subscription, and overage process for supported manufacturers and be able to communicate this process effectively
  • Manage necessary reporting for these partners on a daily/weekly basis
  • Maintain and further build the relationship with the Partner Channel Team
  • Manage the partner alias or team box for our partners within our SLAs
  • Submit and Manage Deal Registrations through CRM or in collaboration with the channel account manager
  • Stay up to date on technology trends in the market through continuous research
  • Keep current on partner programs, program changes, products, and general licensing models
  • Help facilitate a way to better manage any overage fees associated with partner
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Minimum 1 year of business office experience, Inside/outside sales experience or Partner Sales Support experience preferred
    • A strong, dedicated work ethic focusing on the willingness to provide world class support
    • Experience working with software licensing
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
      • Excellent Organization & Time Management Skills
      • Proven Communication both Written & Verbal
      • Ability to be the primary contact and resource
      • Ability to understand and assist in the partner portals
      • Ability to understand and coordinate renewal and overage opportunities
      • Ability to report and provide necessary data to team and partner
      • Ability to assist in resolutions of issues in orders and accounting
      • Ability to respond on a timely manner on all new requests
      • Strong Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution skills
      • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
      • Ability to be proactive and research on staying up to date on licensing trends -
      • A strong, dedicated work ethic focusing on the willingness to provide world class support -
      • Ability to multitask - effectively balance short-term and long-term priorities
      • Ability to communicate comfortably and professionally with a wide variety of internal and external resources/contacts
      • Ability to work extended hours if asked
      • Ability to maintain partner sales certification
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
