Job Description:

Our client, a service provider in Princeton, NJ is looking to hire a Total Rewards Lead. This person will manage day to day administration of the total reward programs including compensation, health and welfare, and retirement plans. Working directly with the Executive Director and Manager of Total Rewards, you will ensure timely and accurate deliverables/SLAs from vendors are met. Additional responsibilities include researching and finding solutions to complex issues including reviewing plan documents/plan summaries, ensuring timely/accurate compliance requirements are met for all benefit plans including health and welfare and retirement plans, working on annual projects such as open enrollment, annual salary reviews/incentives, annual audits, non-discrimination testing, annual review of compensation structure, and others.
Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the administration of total reward programs including compensation, health and welfare and retirement plans.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure deliverables/SLAs are met in a timely fashion.
  • Creating content/updating total reward communications in the portal.
  • Work on projects that include open enrollment, annual salary reviews/incentives, annual non-discrimination testing, annual audits, annual review of compensation structure, etc.
  • Actively managing total rewards calendar.
  • Research/find solutions to complex issues that arise for Benefit Plans including review plan documents.
  • Ensure timely/accurate compliance requirements are met including 5500 tax filings.
  • Guide and developing junior staff.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors' Degree, preferably in HRM or another related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
    • CCP, CBP, GRP, CEBS preferred
    • Extensive In-depth knowledge of total reward programs/best practices
    • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel skills
    • Experience with PeopleSoft and/or other HR related systems
    • Thorough knowledge of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations governing total reward programs
    • Highly developed skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely, to convey complex subject matter and persuade and influence management, clients and employees at all levels
    • Ability to work effectively between and among departments and individuals
    • Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy to resolve sensitive human resources issues
