Position / Title: Digital Lead
Reports To: Marketplace Strategy & Analytics Director
Summary
The Digital Lead is responsible for managing all aspects of the
eCommerce traffic generation including advanced email segmentation,
search engine marketing, and search engine optimization. We are
looking for an exceptionally organized, data-focused, and creative
candidate that can work well in a team environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with a
creative mindset and enjoys getting down to the granular levels of
a site to drive measurable performance. You have a great
understanding of the customer journey and are passionate about
testing and iterating in order to find efficiency gains at every
stage of the funnel. Lastly, we are looking for a team player as
comfortable doing the detailed work as they are capable of
developing long-term strategy, vision, and meaningful change.
Responsibilities / Duties
- Drive the growth of our portfolio of DTC domains while focusing
on optimizing digital marketing ROI and customer acquisition
cost
- Manage DTC paid search advertising execution, management of 3rd
party partners, and optimization
- Responsible for analytics and reporting of KPIs
daily/weekly/monthly, using insights to identify opportunities and
drive decisions
- Own and manage digital marketing roadmap and media plan
- Manage day to day relationships with contracted agencies to
successfully deploy marketing campaigns aimed at driving scale
- Understand where and how traffic is being driven to our sites and
how to deliver a seamless, conversion-driven experience on site
- Increase ROI and drive revenue by means of segmentation,
personalization, A/B testing, and general email campaign
optimization strategies
- Partner and seamlessly collaborate with cross-functional teams
and brand stakeholders
- Stay current with advances in paid digital marketing, Google
products, and bid management technology to drive innovation
Required
Excellent understanding of online retail and user experience
Must be detail-oriented, hands-on, and possess superior
organization skills
Preferred Adobe Commerce (Magento2) experienced
Preferred analyst capabilities with SQL, Tableau, and Excel
A highly technically oriented position that requires hands-on
queries, reporting, and decision support
A plus - NetSuite ERP
A digitally oriented person who is also highly analytically
experienced and data
Management will mostly be of problem resolution and those stemming
from a modern CDO reporting structure.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and with multiple
levels of seniority
A great degree of creativity and day-to-day flexibility is
required
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills and a technical can-do attitude
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Web Design and
Development preferred
Excellent understanding of online retail and user experience
3 + years managing all aspects of the e-commerce traffic generation
including advanced email segmentation, search engine marketing, and
search engine optimization
Deep understanding of the customer journey, and passionate about
testing and iterating in order to find efficiencies
Broad DTC, B2C, and B2B knowledge
DTC paid search advertising execution, management of 3rd party
partners, and optimization experience is required
We will consider Remote candidates for applicants outside of the
NYC Metropolitan area
