  • on-prem/cloud experienceDay to Day Responsibilities/project specifics:Serve in the role of a Solution Architect within Employee Experience Technology organization. You will support a variety of business initiatives and strategic efforts across the organization that will focus on improving the overall employee experience.We are seeking an experienced architect who is a very thoughtful and possesses both technical depth and strong interpersonal skills to partner with internal and external teams to develop scalable, flexible, and cutting-edge solutions. You will be expected to collaborate with peers within the company to define and execute the Employee Experience technical vision. You will be expected to have experience or exposure in the following:----Drive conceptual and logical architecture design for new initiatives----Develop standards, patterns, best practices for reuse and acceleration----Ensure initiatives are adhering to strategic architecture principles----Work with business partners to translate functional requirements into technical requirements----Ability to provide technical recommendations and trade-offs to address business needs and timelines and drive to resolution----Participate in cross-functional, cross-discipline architecture teams to enhance / set the architectural direction for key business initiatives----Participate in the continued definition of our target Strategies----Serve as a fully seasoned, technically proficient resource; routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member or as an individual contributor. Will not have direct-reports but will influence and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations.----Influence, Negotiate and Lead technology alternative evaluations and implementations across the Technology and Line of Business organizations----Ability to work across a variety of third-party applications and internal built solutions----Experienced in integration architecture----Extensive knowledge and experience working with various operating systems----Analyze current technologies used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve----Proven ability to define, implement and maintain world class - enterprise level business systems and architecture----Experience in application development for large-scale highly resilient----Someone who has seen a process from proof of concept to releaseRequired Skills include:Experience designing and optimizing integration solutions across all common integration styles - batch, micro-batch, API, streaming, messaging, etc.----Experienced architecting IT solutions On-Premise and Cloud Hosted----Software engineering and design architecture----Ability to create and drive the implementation of enterprise-level technology strategies----Comfortable challenging the status-quo----Excellent organizational, project management and problem-solving skills----Excellent initiative, innovative thinking skills, and the ability to analyze details and adopt a big-picture view----Excellent Analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, including strong presentation skills----Ability to present ideas in a clean, user-friendly wayDesired skills include:-Familiarity with physical devices or security related equipment such as cameras, card access, monitoring, readers etc..----Knowledge of physical security trends and technical design----Understanding of industry trends and vendor positioning----Understanding of architecture methods----Employee Experience solutions a plus----Some Experience in at least one programming or scripting language (R, Python, C, C++, JavaScript, Groovy)----Interest and enthusiasm for Natural Language Models, Voice Bots, Chat Bots, Search Engines, Text Summarizers etc.----Looking for someone who is curious, skilled at analysis, financial background is a plus----Experience in the containerization of applications
