We are currently recruiting for a Head of Consumer Acquisition.
This position can be located in Los Angeles, CA, Skillman, NJ or
New York, NY. Remote work options may be considered on a
case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company.
In this role you will be the single-threaded owner of all consumer
acquisition goals for Neutrogena. The person in this role will lead
a team of high-performance marketers in an agile environment to
convert awareness and interest around our brand, prioritizing and
executing media initiatives focused on acquisition, including
search (traditional and retail), retail media, and paid
social/influencer, and ensuring acquisition programs are
coordinated and integrated across the digital ecosystem, with focus
on bridging "traditional" and retail media executions.
Data driven and highly analytical, this leader is expected to scale
growth initiatives by working across brand, agency, and customer
teams, and will continuously test and assess digital performance in
real-time to efficiently optimize success metrics such as media
ROI, conversion rate, and engagement to name a few. This role will
also work with Audience Managers and media agency to deploy and
optimize audience strategies, unlocking the value of 1P data.
We are looking for a candidate that is independent, creative
problem-solver with great business acumen and analytical skills,
capable of driving multiple projects simultaneously while leading
and developing high-performing teams, and influence partners to
think big and deliver on project roadmaps. Excelling in Neutrogena
requires a leader ready to put skin in the game: ambitious mindset,
innovative thinking, and capable of leading through ambiguity
Th person in this role will regularly assess external landscape,
engage and partner with Marketing, Market Research, Sales, and
media agency teams to stay up to date on the latest consumer
insights, industry trends, competitive strategy, brand and customer
objectives to proactively inform acquisition strategies. You will
lead, mentor, and develop a team of 7-10 digital experience
specialists.
In this role you will:
* Own of customer acquisition for the business.
* Build long-term strategies for customer acquisition and lead the
team in execution over the short/medium term.
* Own all on-deck acquisition optimization efforts and work closely
with brand and engagement teams to make it easy for consumes to
join.
* Write new playbooks on customer acquisition for the business.
* Work closely with launch marketing and other teams to build the
right content targeting framework across customer cohorts to
maximize conversion.
* Work with external platforms, agencies and support partners to
ensure the right tooling and optimization of Neutrogena advertising
campaigns.
* Mentor and develop a team of high-performing marketers
* Deliver customer acquisition outcomes within financial objectives
through annual budget preparation and ongoing forecasting and
monitoring results
* Drive robust and detailed measurement and reporting processes
* Work closely with Marketing Analytics and Business Intelligence
teams to identify and convert data analysis into actionable
insights for customer acquisition
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
Required Skills:
* A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred area of
study in Business, Marketing or Technology
* Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal with
stakeholders, and driving direction and alignment with
cross-functional teams
* Experience managing teams
* A minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience, including media
execution, digital marketing, or related field with a deep
understanding of the integrated marketing experience and the role
digital plays in the marketing mix
* Prior media agency experience or dedicated media role within a
company/brand team
* Solid understanding of foundational marketing technologies (Ad
Servers, DSPs, DMPs/Content Management Systems, Audience Management
Platforms (CDP), Adobe Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, etc.)
* Ability to define and set critical metrics for measuring program
effectiveness. Ability to turn complex data and insights into
easily understood data stories.
* Should have managed large-scale budgets to deploy across media on
both performance and brand marketing outcomes
* Able to use learning tools optimally to support decision making,
e.g., A / B testing and experimentation
* Strong intellectual curiosity and entrepreneurial approach with
the ability to work in a rapid and iterative development
environment
* Self-starter with interpersonal, leadership, and collaborative
skills to work effectively with multiple cross-functional teams
* Excelling in Neutrogena requires a leader ready to put skin in
the game: ambitious mindset, innovative thinking to enable market
disruption and capable of leading through ambiguity
Preferred Skills:
* Agile/SCRUM experience
* Experience developing, leading, and executing 360-degree
campaigns
