Title: User Engagement LiaisonContract Duration: 12+
MonthsServices Overview:This service primarily supports the Program
Management and Platform Operations team with user engagement,
change management, and business advisory activities. The service
will be required to provide Process, Change Management, Training,
and Communication expertise required for the Data Platforms and
Privacy group and will be a point of contact as assigned for
cross-functional teams involved in managing these projects. This
service is expected to maintain an awareness of industry benchmarks
and evaluate innovative new approaches to ensure the client's Data
Science platform operations processes are at the 'best practice'
level of performance.Position Description:The Data Science User
Engagement Liaison is accountable to drive user engagement strategy
across various Therapeutic Areas, as well provide insights into
program execution. Key responsibilities include participation in
activities to increase, improve or upgrade user adoption of
applicable systems and tools. The Data Science User Engagement
Liaison will support systems and tools developed or owned by the
client's Data Science organization and promote adoption and use by
cross-functional areas. Embedded within the Data Platforms and
Privacy group, the Data Science User Engagement Liaison will act as
a translator for various business functions. Key Responsibilities
and Deliverables:
- Services rendered will adhere to applicable standard operating
procedures (SOPs), work instructions (WIs), policies, local
regulatory requirements, etc.
- Responsible for the coordination of business engagement and
user requirement definitions for specific projects, platforms, and
tools as assigned
- Act as a contact point between the client's business partners
(Global Development, TAs, etc.) and the client's Data Science
teams
- Work collaboratively with the client's other organizations as
necessary (TAs, EBIS, IDAR, Quantitative Sciences, etc.)
- Gather and document user requirements for products being built,
refined, enhanced, or purchased as assigned
- Contribute to the development of standardized processes and
procedures for Data Science operations and platform support
- Provide support to optimize and maintain high-quality processes
embedded and standardized across all the respective functional
groups
- Provide support to define, maintain and conduct optimal
department-wide Training Strategy, covering all functional
activities, technologies, processes, tools, and data sets as
assigned for all team members
- Help to drive functional area Communications Strategy,
including change management activities, management of
outward-facing portals, and establishment of Champion Networks
- Maintain a close relationship with cross-functional
stakeholders, and maintain an awareness of current issues in the
department
- Serve on projects to streamline workflows within the functional
area as assigned
- Make significant and creative contributions to overall user
engagement materials including presentations, guides, portals,
slide decks, etc.
- Understand and conceptualize business requirements, user needs,
user engagement, demos, roadshows, etc.
- Work in collaboration with leadership to create, execute and
align the strategy for the rollout of new systems and
toolsQualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (University degree) or equivalent education /
relevant experience required
- At least 2 years of operational experience with a
pharmaceutical company or life sciences company is required
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in
bioinformatics, epidemiology, statistical analysis, Real World
Evidence (RWE), or a related discipline is required
- The ability to apply a technical informatics lens to clinical
functions is required
- Strong project management skills and presentation skills are
required
- Comfort in delivering clear and concise instructions and
training to groups of audiences from line level to senior
leadership staff is required
- Proficiency in computer applications such as the MS Office
suite is required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are
required
- Experience in working in a matrix global environment is
preferred
- A good understanding of the therapeutic areas where the client
is involved is preferred
