Job Description:
MandateThe Data Architect/Solution Architect - Patient Support
Services creates and designs comprehensive solutions to support and
facilitate business operations. (S)He is accountable for the
relevant selection and usage of IT components and standards
(security, technical product) in alignment with the technology
Strategy and Enterprise Architecture policies and guidelines. The
Solution Architect Patient Support Services will leverage the
Digital portfolio, catalog of services, existing platforms as well
as integrate new industry standards to define and implement the
Patient Services architecture strategy. The role will streamline
platform/services utilization in financially efficient manner to
maximize business value while ensuring Digital operational
efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design of solutions for
large Patient Support Programs (PSP) including SFDC HealthCloud and
supporting technologiesImplements required patient support program
architecture and design to meet business use case requirements
including patient case management and patient engagement Implement
strategies, processes, and logic to integrate partner services into
the overall program (ex. - Benefit Verification, Co-Pay , Dispense,
etc )Understands and defines the architecture for a holistic
patient journey within the PSP programDirect and control large
specialist teams to undertake the delivery of a comprehensive
patient support programWork as part of the program management team
on large program, governing and shaping the delivery of projects.
Work closely with external suppliers to ensure solution makes best
use of technology and meets requirementsSimplify the existing
patient support architecture, delivering reusable services and cost
saving opportunities in line with the policies and standards of the
groupLead collaborative team working with other areas within the
Digital team to ensure that all solutions are complete, operable,
conform to business processes, and meet the business needs with the
agreed quality of serviceProvide clear, continuous, and consistent
patient support services architecture leadership at a detailed
level within the projectLead and participate in the peer review and
quality assurance of project architectural artifacts across Digital
teams through governance forums. Report key architecture decisions
and implications to the architectural governance forumsIdentify and
communicate appropriate resource requirements and work breakdown
structure based on skills profile and best fit to complete the
end-to-end solution design, and work with the program manager to
ensure that project plans and finances align with the
designParticipate in the supplier selection process, evaluating
usefulness and cost of products and making appropriate
recommendationsExpected to carry out core accountabilities with
minimal level of supervision for complex tasks and no supervision
for more routine mattersDrive project knowledge back to the Digital
Patient Architecture team and ensure that it evolves
correctlyCreate and maintain current- and target-state data
architecturesDefine and manage standards, guidelines, and processes
to ensure patient support program qualityEnsure technology
solutions are in alignment with data architecture principles and
target stateOversee end-to-end data life cycle management
activitiesWork with Digital teams, business analysts and data
analytics teams to understand patient needs and develop
solutionsEvaluate and recommend emerging technologies for patient
support programsResponsible for ensuring the integrity and privacy
of protected health information (PHI)Oversee third party
architecture designsEnsure Patient Services Agile Dev/Ops alignment
to architecture implementation in compliant and consistent manner

QualificationsUnderstanding of life sciences/pharma.Minimum of 7
years of experience in Architecture, with specialization in
relevant technologies (SFDC HealthCloud, Marketing Cloud, CTI
Technologies, Veeva Meeting/Events)Excellent written and oral
communication skillsAbility to translate functional requirements
into technical/solution designThe candidate must be detailed
oriented, customer driven, able to work well across time zones on a
truly global team, and a team playerThe ideal candidate will have
experience providing consumer or patient facing technologiesStrong
experience with Agile based development, preferably with direct
experience as Solution ArchitectPreferred experience with GxP,
HIPAA and GDPR regulationsDemonstrate professional and reliable
behavior on a consistent basisBachelor's degreeAs a healthcare
