Job Description:

Scientist I, Quality Control Entry-level role resp for performing testing of raw materials, in-process & finished pharmaceutical dosage forms, products on stability, cleaning verification samples following written procedures & applicable SOPs, to clearly document activities performed during testing & to calculate and report results on applicable specification docs. Perform physical & chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process & finished pharmaceutical products, incl products on stability, according to written methods or compendial methods as applicable, material specs, using analytical techniques such as IR spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, & chromatographic techniques adhering to co. policies as identified in standard operating procedures (SOPs). Reqmts: Must have at least Bachelor's deg. in Pharmacy or Chemistry or Microbiology. Must have at least 12 mths of exp in the advertised position or as QC Scientist or in rltd role.
