reside in TS-ERP organization. This role will work with the Sr
Manager, CMD-SAP Services. In this role, the Service Transition
lead will support Change Management, Release Management and
Production Transition for their application or portfolio of
application(s) expedited recovery of services required by the
business in the case of disruption. Individual will ensure that new
changes to the IT environment are properly reviewed to maximize
availability for business users and limit service disruption. Key
Responsibilities: Change Management Ensure that changes are
recorded, evaluated, authorized, prioritized, planned, tested,
implemented, documented, and reviewed in a controlled manner.
Release Management Contribute to testing and control the movement
of releases into test and live environments. Ensure that the
integrity of the production environment is protected and that the
correct components are released. Contributes to the Release
Management Lifecycle (Review & Validate Release, Plan, Build &
Configure, Test & Accept, Plan Deployment, Perform Operational
Readiness, Deploy) Responsible for later phases of Release
Management Lifecycle (Go-Live, Manage Warranty Support) Production
Transition Works in conjunction with Application Development team
and contributes to specific phases within the Production Transition
Lifecycle (Define Service Transition Strategy & Approach, Define
Service Transition Lifecycle Stages, Prepare for Service
Transition, Plan & Coordinate Service Transition, Provide Service
Transition Process Support) Knowledge Management Ensure recommended
knowledge is published prior to service transition Continuous
Service Improvement Utilize KPIs and change and release metrics to
identify service improvement opportunities and initiate action
Every day, this role will provide you the opportunity to: Work
directly with Business partners/ Technology Product Owners /
developers/SaaS vendors/architects to drive solutions to build
stronger more reliable SAP applications Engage in and improve our
SAP Services applications - design, deployment, operation,
automation and continuous improvement. Work to keep revenue and
reputation-critical systems highly available and reliable by
measuring and monitoring availability, performance and overall
system health. Perform Production Readiness reviews and ensure
operational resource capacity based on business criticality of the
application. Interact with technologists around the world building
global and regional services and relationships with some of the
most passionate, dedicated, and caring individuals in the world.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems
or Computer Science required Experience and Skills: Required:
Minimum of 5 years of IT experience required supporting SAP
enterprise applications like ECC, BW, NGW, FIORI, SOLMAN, GRC,
Monitoring, Corporate Financial system and collaborating with key
stakeholders in a diverse global environment Experience working in
SAP Platform Services - Operational Support, Infrastructure
knowledge, Capacity, License & Release Management Expertise in ITIL
processes (incident management, change, problem, release
management) Experience to lead and manage vendor partners Manage
high-performance team, focused attention to performance metrics,
procedural guidance and continuous process improvement Experience
in Scrum, Agile methodology concepts Focus on business outcomes,
strategic thinker with ability to prioritize team goals and
activities Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage
multiple projects simultaneously in a fast- paced environment
Preferred: Work directly with Business partners/ Technology Product
Owners developers/SaaS vendors/architects to drive solutions to
build stronger more reliable applications Perform Production
Readiness reviews and ensure operational resource capacity based on
business criticality of the application Strong communications
verbal & written; creating sound arguments; or to adequately
represent both business and IT implications during a Major Service
Disruption Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to
influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to
