Advertising Sales Associate-NJ/NY/PAWe have an exciting new opportunity in our Medical Communications Division. Candidate to live in tri-state area of Cranbury, NJAmplity Medical Communications is an established medcomms business that has unmatched capabilities in several areas. In addition to offering the usual mix of strategic planning, content development and KOL engagement we have market access, analytics, and audience reach capabilities that are unique in this space.

  • We are the only medical communications group that, through our publishing business, have access to whole communities of physicians, nurses, pharmacists and patients. And through our integrated business, we are able to integrate on and offline activities with field deployments.
  • We have a strong market access capability within the medical communications team that dovetails with our market access consulting business
  • We have access to strong analytics capabilities sitting both within our medical communications team and with our insights group in a sister business unit.
    In this environment, we do a lot of writing for different audiences and for different kinds of online and offline deliverables, for live and virtual events, and for market research/analytics projectsPosition Summary:This position will provide a qualified candidate the opportunity to apply their knowledge and experience in advertising for a medical communications/publishing company. The ideal candidate for the Manager, Sales position can collaborate effectively with their Manager and Senior Leadership and must be an expert in preparing and delivering advertising presentations to new and existing clients. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate a proven ability to maintain constructive working relationships, both internally and with clients.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
    • New business development by way of scheduling live meetings through cold calls/emails
    • Persuading clients to buy advertising space
    • Management of assigned accounts while increasing advertising revenue through potential new clients
    • Finding out who controls the advertising budget in target organizations and contacting them
    • Explaining the benefits of your medium, using statistics on readership or viewing figures
      • Creating proposals
      • Closing the deal and recording the details
      • Effectively communicate advertising plans to clients which will promote their products or services
      • Documented track record of persistence and success
      • Supply weekly reports to management of weekly calls and meetings booked
        • CRM Management (Salesforce)
        • Achievement of agreed upon sales/advertising targets and outcomes
        • Travel

          • BS/BA in business, advertising/marketing, or communications preferred
            • Must have at least 5 years of experience
            • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and ExcelKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
              • Expert interpersonal, written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and management skills
                • Self-motivated, with the ability to complete assignments with minimum supervision
                • Expert in selling, communication, and negotiation
                • Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
