Job Description
Otsuka's Field Training & Development department oversees the design, development and measurement of high impact learning initiatives aligned with the organization's business objectives to ultimately deliver improved performance. We support four commercial brands, the Patient Experience & Support division, and the Market Access division. Learning initiatives are delivered through New-Hire Training, Commercial Meetings, Leadership Onboarding Programs, Business Insights & Planning Programs, and other Ad-hoc programs.
The FT&D 2023 Summer Intern will:
Attend and participate in FT&D CNS and Operations team meetings. Attend and participate in FT&D Department Staff Meetings. Support Training Managers and NFTMs during CNS new-hire training classes unless engaged in other duties.
Specific duties related to launches will depend on the timing but may include the following:
Abilify Maintena 2-Month post-launch training survey design and implementation, analyze survey data to compile a Abilify Maintena 2-Month post-launch training needs assessment, participate in working group for Abilify Maintena 2-Month Fall POA meeting design.
Participate in Rexulti AAD pre-launch meeting planning. Collaborate with CNS training managers and instructional design managers to finalize Rex AAD launch workshops. Rex AAD post-launch meeting training survey design.
Intern Project:
FT&D strives to continually improve our ability to measure and quantify the impact of training initiatives on the improved performance of the organization. The InTOW Summer Intern will analyze available data sources (Surveys, Brand Impact Data, ATU Data, etc.) and compile a report on the impact of recent training activities on performance in the related therapeutic area.

Qualifications/ Required
Knowledge/ Experience and Skills:

Educational Qualifications
*Undergraduate or Graduate degree candidate
*2nd 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate study
*Preferred majors: Communications, Biology, Health Informatics, Health Science, Health Services, Healthcare Management
*Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship or co-op assignment

*Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment
*Demonstrate ability to think creatively to solve complex problems
