  • Understanding of the software development process and QA life cycle (including test preparation, data conditioning, test case design, execution, defect tracking, and status reporting).
    
  • 10-12 years' minimum experience on QA Functional & Automation testing background with strong analytical skills, ability to decompose requirements into testable cases covering positive, negative, variety of data scenarios
    
  • 10-12 years of Experience in testing backend only services, integrations with upstream / downstream systems - Development / automation coding expertise a plus with demonstration of technical skills.
    
  • Exposure to Web service testing. This includes strong understanding of XML schema, tools that support testing web service interface, JSON - SME SQL skills including complex query writing
    
  • Ability to review schema to gain understanding of db structure, ability to use variety of SQL tools to accomplish required testing.
    
  • Expertise with Webservices Testing using SOATest & SOAPUI.
    
  • Possess a broad understanding of multiple technologies, including Mainframe, DB2, IMS, COBOL, Master Data Management, Analytics, ETL, UNIX shell scripting.
    
  • Has an understanding of large Batch processing, knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies,
    
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in COBOL, CICS, DB2 IBM OS/JCL (MVS), Testing & Debugging.
    
  • Knowledge of change management tools like ENDEVOR.
    
  • Exposure in ETL testing projects and Datastage.
    
  • Expertise with test management tools such as Client ALM/Quality Center/JIRA
    
  • Automation skills required using automation tools beyond recording features, Selenium potential if strong in other skillsets
    
  • Ability to coordinate testing between various downstream testing teams.
    
  • Team focused behavior and an ability to communicate issues in a timely and appropriate manner.
    
  • Able to work independently and make decisions that will move the work forward despite challenges.
    
  • Automation skills required using automation tools beyond recording features, Selenium potential if strong in other skillsets
