Job Description:
Job Summary:As a member of the Federal Sales Team, the Federal
Bid Desk Coordinator is an entry point into Federal B2B IT Sales at
SHI. The Federal Bid Desk coordinator will focus on completing bids
for SHI held contracts, including but not limited to NASA SEWP, and
ARMY ITES-SW. The Federal Bid Desk coordinator works to review and
capture all strategic opportunities from respective Federal
contract portals. The Federal Bid Desk coordinator will manage the
overall bid process from identifying suitable opportunities to
closing them and analyzing their outcomes. This position requires
discipline, diligence, and attention to details. The successful
candidate possesses initiative and creativity, and drives continual
process improvement to achieve the goal of enlarging the number of
biddable opportunities and increasing the win ratio.This position
is required to report to the SHI Somerset NJ office location as

spendingResponsibilities:Include, but not limited to:Manage the
day-to-day operations of capturing, tabulating, reviewing, and
disseminating Federal bid opportunities internally including those
released on NASA SEWP, Army ITES-SW, and other contract
portals.Identify opportunities that require comprehensive proposal
responses, transfer those opportunities to the Proposal team, and
continue to provide any assistance they might need throughout the
process.Assist with bid/no bid decisions on opportunities suitable
for pursuit by the Federal sales teamDistribute the foregoing
opportunities to relevant stakeholders for bid preparation and
submission, record, monitor, compile, and analyze win/loss
statistics reports.Develop close working relationships with the
Federal sales team to Identify and prioritize high value
opportunities and ensure that they are properly reviewed by the
responsible decision makers.Coordinate, develop, maintain, and
continually improve operational processes and procedures for the
Federal Bid Desk.Conduct after action reviews with sales teams and
management to identify, analyze, and disseminate lessons learned to
drive continual process improvement.Infuse the Bid Desk with
enthusiasm, creativity, and energy to enable it to radiate the
optimistic and positive outlook essential for success.Provide world
class support by being responsive and attentive to customers,
colleagues, and partners' inquiries and
requirements.Qualifications:Minimum 1 year of business office
experienceHighschool DiplomaRequired Skills:Must be detail
oriented, diligent, and able to work at a computer/desk for
prolonged periods on a sustained basisPossess a "hands-on" and "can
do" attitudeMust be entrepreneurial, resourceful, and creative in
thinking and general outlookStrong interpersonal networking skills
to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities

requiredAdditional Information:The estimated annual pay range for
this position is $33,000 - $40,000. The compensation for this
position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience,
and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to
individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical,
