The SQL Database Developer will be responsible for developing software and completing tasks as assigned as part of an Agile SCRUM team. Tasks will include but are not limited to:Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycleMain focus on coding and debuggingCollaborate with Front-end developersDefine and communicate technical and design requirementsProvide training, help and support to other team membersBuild high-quality reusable code that can be used in thew futureDevelop functional and sustainable web applications with clean codeTroubleshoot and debug applicationsLearn about new technologiesStay up to date with current best practicesConduct tests and optimize performanceManage cutting-edge technologies to improve applicationsCollaborate with multidisciplinary team of designers, developers, and system administrators SkillRequired / DesiredAmountof ExperienceInstall, configure & manage new SQL Servers and databases (SQL Server 2017 or above). Managing multi-DB environment setup (Including production).Required8Extensive experience ensuring that all database servers are backed up and recovery is time tested to meet business''s Recovery Point Objectives.Required8Prior experience assisting developers with query tuning and schema refinement.Required8Extensive experience writing Transact SQL (T-SQL) Queries, dynamic queries, indexes, constraints, views, functions.Required8Extensive experience writing new and understanding/reviewing/fine-tuning existing Stored Procedures.Required8Good command of Microsoft excels, data validations, data cleaning, manipulation, reporting and pivot featuresRequired8Extensive experience with failover clustering, replication, and other high availability technologies.Highly desired8Prior experience troubleshooting SQL Server service outages as they occur, monitor system''s health and performance.Highly desired8Extensive experience working with developers to review scripts, and support frequent DB deployment activities.Highly desired8Prior experience with refinement and automation of regular processes, track issues, and document changesDesired8Experience with Azure SQL databases and Azure portal features.Desired8Good knowledge of XML and JSON Data structures.DesiredExperience with deployment tools like Red Gate SQL.Desired5 - provided by Dice
