Leverage deep understanding of business processes and technical building blocks to design application architecture that balances business and customer needs with technical non-functional requirements for resiliency, security and efficiency. Partners with application engineers to ensure the application ecosystem is engineered according to architecture vision and continuously evolve the architecture and application to meet changing customer and business needs.**Responsibilities**+ Independently oversees the design process for an application and innovate unique solution patterns for that application+ Demonstrates a deep understanding of business processes and technical building blocks to help develop product vision and strategy with Product Owners+ Trains others in and out of your department in solution design patterns+ Actively researches innovative solutions and ways to build business capabilities+ Build, evolve and scale the data science technology capabilities to enable our enterprise machine learning platform+ Enable the latest machine learning tools and frameworks for our Enterprise Data & Decision Science Community**Minimum Qualifications****At a minimum, here's what we need from you:**+ Bachelors - Computer Science or related+ 10+ Years - Software Development, Software Engineering, Technical Architecture or related+ Internal applicants only: technical proficiency rating of expert on the Dreyfus architecture scale**Preferred Qualifications****Bonus Points If You Have:**+ Experience working with containerization and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes/Openshift) and cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP or others.+ Experience in key technologies to be leveraged by the team including Java, Python / PySpark, Spark, CI/CD technologies+ Experience in Machine Learning Platforms and Data Science Technologies+ Experience working with a variety of data platforms such as S3, Snowflake, Redis, Cassandra+ Experience building and implementing API service architectures+ Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies+ Experience in high availability & scalability design, as well as performance monitoringExternal applicants will be required to perform a technical interview.\#Remote\#BI-Remote\#LI-KEWhat are you waiting for?
