Senior Wealth Advisor is responsible for maintaining ongoing
relationships and managing the delivery of wealth management
services to the clients. -Utilizes broad-based fiduciary knowledge
to administer trusts and educate clients on trust and estate
planning. The Senior Wealth Advisor will also look for
opportunities to enhance and grow existing relationships with the
bank.Job Responsibilities: -
- Manages an account base consisting of large and complex
relationships, including more sensitive client relationships.
- Administers trusts according to trust documents and manages
client relationships, ensuring that fiduciary standards and BMT's
policies are observed.
- Assumes responsibility for overall client satisfaction by
directing and coordinating the efforts of appropriate bank
resources to ensure the timely delivery of quality service, issue
resolution, and effective communication with clients and other team
members.
- Cultivates strong working relationships with clients and their
other advisors to develop a complete understanding of client's
needs.
- Actively seeks to identify new business opportunities from
existing client base, prospects, and centers of influence.
- Builds and maintains knowledge of fiduciary standards and
practices.
- Supports Fiduciary Services by providing leadership for
departmental projects and serving on or leading committees.
- May provide mentoring to junior WMD advisors, which includes
training, skill development, work allocation, and problem
resolution.
- Represents BMT at outside/professional organizations.
- Additional responsibilities as requiredMinimum Qualifications:
- College degree and at least 7 years of experience in a trust
department of a bank or with a financial service company or law
firm.
- Deep technical knowledge of fiduciary, tax, and estate planning
concepts with a solid understanding of financial markets
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong customer service skills and commitment to delivering
excellent customer service
- Strong written and verbal skills and ability to handle and
deliver difficult client and management messages with tact and
