At Optum, we are transforming healthcare nationally while providing physician-led care locally.Schedule:Monday - Friday8:00 AM - 4:00 PMor 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM,and 1 Saturday a month from8:00 AM- 1:00 PMLocation:165 NJ-23,Franklin,New Jersey 07416Primary Responsibilities:Greet patient when entering the practiceObtain accurate and updated patient information, such as name, address, insurance informationPerform insurance verification on the date of serviceFile and maintain medical recordsConfirms and schedule appointmentsAnswer telephone calls promptly and courteouslyCollects co-pays or outstanding balances on the date of servicePerform referral documentation promptlyPerforms certain follow-up services for patients in a prompt and courteous manner, such as scheduling specialist appointments, scheduling follow-up appointments and obtaining copies lab results or specialist reportsAdhere to the standards identified in Riverside's Employee Policy ManualCooperate with other RMG employees to achieve specific team goalsKeep abreast on current medical requirements relevant to their position, which includes maintaining patient confidentiality and abiding by all HIPAA and OSHA requirementsWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?
