Purpose We are seeking a US Head of Market Access, Biologics, who
will have a strong track record in the biologics space, to lead our
market access strategy for our biologic portfolio. The Head of
Market Access will build and lead the market access function at Dr.
Reddy's and play a critical role in developing, communicating, and
implementing market access, pricing and contracting strategies. The
ideal candidate will have significant experience in biologic
product launches, passion for the commercialization of biologics,
and a deep understanding of the US healthcare market. This role
will be a key member of the Biologics Leadership Team, reporting to
the Head of Commercial, Biologics North America and will be the
market access subject matter expert for Dr. Reddy's biologic
portfolio. This role will lead a team of US market access
professionals including payer account management, payer marketing,
pricing and contracting strategy. He/she will develop a holistic
strategic and tactical plan for the US biologics business across
all access segments including Commercial Payer, PBM, GPO, IDN, and
Government channels. This role will develop and lead the long term
strategic road-map for the US Market Access organization for Dr.
Reddy's emerging biologics portfolio. Key Responsibilities -- Lead
the market access function and play a leadership role in designing
and implementing the market access strategy for the biologics
portfolio. -- Build and lead a team of US market access
professionals to include payer accounts, pricing and contracting,
and payer marketing roles. Provide team leadership and guidance in
negotiations with payers, government authorities, and other key
stakeholders to secure reimbursement and access for our biologic
products. -- Lead the development of market access and
reimbursement strategies for the internal biologic pipeline and
also for in-licensing and business development targets. -- Provide
regular updates to US leadership on market and regulatory
developments related to reimbursement and patient access. --
Oversee and be accountable for government price reporting
obligations -- Collaborate with evidence generation stakeholders to
identify and support the creation of health outcomes research to
address evolving US market access needs -- Establish and promote a
positive and highly productive working partnership with internal
and external stakeholders -- Collaborate with cross-functional
teams and external partners, including commercial, marketing,
global, medical affairs, regulatory, and health economics and
outcomes research (HEOR) to align on strategies that maximize
patient access and product valueQualifications -- The ideal
candidate will have significant market access experience with
biologic and/or biosimilar product launches. -- H ave extensive
executive-level customer relationships across national and regional
payer accounts, PBMs, hospital systems and specialty pharmacy
providers. -- Must have a deep market access and reimbursement
experience in both self-administered outpatient biologics (Medicare
Part D, prescription drug benefit) and HCP-administered biologics
(Medicare Part B, medical benefit). -- Preferred 15 years of
experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with 10+ years in
market access roles. Highly preferred to have experience in the
biologics and/or biosimilar space and preferably in Rheumatology,
Oncology, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology or Rare
Diseases. -- Understanding of specialty pharmacies, patient hubs,
and patient support programs. -- Outstanding management experience,
leadership and communication skills -- Bachelors required; advanced
degree preferred from recognized university (MBA, Phar.D., PhD) --
Prior payer national account and PBM account management experience;
must possess executive presence and the ability to lead the account
team in securing profitable deals with managed care and government
payers -- Prior pricing and contracting management experience --
Proven leadership skills, analytical, and negotiation skills --
Ability to travel as needed, domestically and internationallyEqual
