for a Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical assistance
and oversee timely delivery of quality technical support to
internal and external customers. This position will be full-time
contract and onsite. What You'll Do
- Provide technical assistance on problems dealing with operating
systems, computers, utility programs, and system control
parameters
- Support the helpdesk and oversee the timely delivery of quality
technical support
- Manage help desk personnel and develop policies and procedures
for troubleshooting IT issues
- Assess new products or services and suggest enhancements to
senior managementWhat You'll NeedRequired:
- Hardware/software support to end users; installs hardware and
software on servers or workstations
- Experience in a Windows environment
- Telephone communication skills
- Maintenance or installation of basic application programs and
support (e.g., password reset, user management)Preferred:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Teams, SharePoint
- Knowledge of ServiceNowPhysical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job
functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and
local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary
most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to
attend meetings, etc.
